Hi, my name is Judith, founder of Forever Empanadas.
I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York in a hardworking single-mother household that taught me independence, resilience, and the value of home-cooked meals. Inspired by my Dominican roots, my love for cooking began early and has always been about bringing people together through food.
My journey started in my own kitchen, simply trying to make my daughters happy. Their favorite finger food has always been Dominican-style empanadas and wanting them made just right pushed me to learn how to prepare them authentically with my own savory twist.
What began as an act of love quickly grew as family and friends encouraged me to share my empanadas for gatherings, work events, and special occasions. Without realizing it, I was building the foundation of a business.
During the pandemic, my focus expanded to health and balance. I began researching juicing as part of my wellness journey, experimenting with fresh fruits and vegetables to create nourishing blends. When coworkers and friends, especially fans of the green juice started asking for them, the idea came together: empanadas and juices, because life is all about balance.
Today, Forever Empanadas offers handmade empanadas made from freshly prepared wheat flour dough with bold, comforting flavors, paired with refreshing cold-pressed and blended juices made from natural ingredients, including favorites like Forever Green and Passion Fruit.
After relocating to Virginia, I felt called to share my Dominican roots with the DMV community. Forever Empanadas is more than food it’s about culture, connection, and creating moments that feel like home.
